Tobias Slingshots will be calling Glen Ridge Home in 2017

These little cars have been absent from Glen Ridge for a few years but they will be making a return for the 2017 racing season. This class contains young and old alike and is a very competitive form of racing with strictly enforced rules. This series created by Ritchie Tobias will host a national event at the “fastest quarter on dirt” during the 2017 season and that will bring a lot of the Pennsylvania race teams up north for the event. “We are looking forward to the addition of divisions that will support the speedway and its efforts to provide a positive racing atmosphere” stated Matt Demitraszek general manager.

The Slingshots will be a weekly division at the track with the Outlaw Midgets running on rotating Fridays. 2017 will also see another new class returning to the Mohawk Valley and that is the IMCA class. This is also a weekly division and they are running for national and state points.
