Chase Aussicker Claims Street Stock Frenzy Victory

July 25, 2017 (Fultonville, NY) / By Richard White Of Dirt Track Racing Network – An excellent Street Stock special at ‘The Ridge’ Sunday July 23rd with 12 cars in attendance saw Chase Aussicker pick up the win with his number 26 Monte Carlo during after the 20-lap West End Towing sponsored Street Stock Frenzy.

John Young led early in the race, however an early race caution for a spinning Cliff Haslun collected Stephen Young. Both would rejoin the field at the tail.

Smooth sailing through the mid portion of the race with an awesome battle between Aussicker and the ‘wheelman’ Randy Miller, until a late race caution when Miller’s number 12 got a flat RR coming through 3 and 4 and spun collecting up a pair of race cars.

Aussicker was able to capitalize on the restart gaining the top spot and lead the remainder of the race. With Aussicker’s win he took home a $300.00 pay heck and a sweet trophy courtesy of West End Towing & Auto Repair who sponsored the ‘Street Stock Frenzy’ event.

Brian Cosselman who hadn’t raced in nearly two years finished 2nd and picked up $200, while feature winner John Young made his way to 3rd for a $100 payday at the fastest ¼ mile on dirt .

After the race Chase Aussicker had this to say about his finish, “Without my brother Josh Coonradt who won the 2016 Fonda and Albany Saratoga Street Stock track championships, this wouldn’t be possible.”

Great win at The Ridge for Aussicker and many hope to see more street stock racing on the 1/4 mile short track located in Fultonville, NY.
