  • To Be Eligible For Limited Sportsman A Driver Can Not Have Raced Regular Sportsman In The Past 3 Years and/or Finished Top 10 In Regular Sportsman Points At Any Track.
  • All Limited Sportsman Entrants Are Based On Participation In ‘Limited’ or ‘Rookie” Divisions At Other Speedways and/or At The Discretion Of Glen Ridge Motorsports Park Management.

Points System:
  • For 2017 And Going Forward Points Are Awarded 60 For A Win, 57 For 2nd, Down By 1 Point To Last Place.
  • Any Car That Attempts To Qualify Will Be Scored Last Place Points Via Feature Finish If They Are Unable To Start The Main Event.
Handicapping Points:

Handicapping Points Are Based On The Crate Modified Payout For 20+ Cars. It Will Be Utilized For All Weekly Divisions. Any No Show Is Credited With 750 handicapping points, which is the same as a 1st place finish. If a driver has 3 consecutive no shows they will drop off the handicapping list as if they were a new driver. Any driver disqualified for mechanical infraction will receive 1000 handicapping points. Enduro Rules:

  1. DRIVER MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE. ALL MINORS MUST HAVE PARENTAL RELEASE FORM ON FILE. OFFICIALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY ENTRY.
  2. Street Cars Only! Absolutely No Trucks, SUV’s, or Four Wheel Drives.
  3. ALL CARS must paint both front doors white with black numbers. If the car is already white, the doors MUST be painted black with white numbers. This ensures visibility for scoring purposes.
  4. Working seat belts are MANDATORY. Stock seats are permitted in their OEM location.
  5. ALL drivers MUST wear full-face helmets, gloves, closed toes shoes/boots, and full-length heavy shirts and pants. Fire retardant suits are HIGHLY recommended. Do not expect to wear short sleeve shirts, shorts, or flip-flops.
  6. All exterior glass and plastic MUST be removed before entering speedway grounds. All trim, chrome, plastic, etc.
  7. You MUST have mesh screen securely mounted in the windshield area. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS! If any glass is found in the vehicle upon inspection, you may be denied the ability to compete and forfeit your entry fee.
  8. Roll cages and/or bars are not mandatory, but it is HIGHLY recommended you have at least a 2-point roll bar or single bar behind the stock seat for strength extending from side to side and securely fastened from floor braces. Up to a four-point roll cage will be permitted.
  9. ALL drive shafts must be painted white for safety purposes if running a rear wheel drive car.
  10. ABSOLUTELY NO two way radios or any communication devices are permitted. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to have a 1-way raceiver for communication from race control.
  11. NO altering of suspension, springs, or shocks. The vehicle MUST remain stock. ALL cars will be checked prior to enduro competition.
  12. Stock wheels ONLY will be permitted. Should be OEM for the car make/model.
  13. Stock tires ONLY will be permitted. Tires MUST be street DOT for the car make/model. ABSOLUTELY NO mud, snow, or aggressive tires will be permitted.
  14. Gas tanks may remain in stock locations, however a firewall MUST be in place between the tank and driver compartment. Gas lines should run under the car. If a gas line runs through or near the drivers compartment it MUST have solid containment from the drivers compartment. NO CAR will be permitted to race the enduro if there is a gas line and/or tank leak of any kind.
  15. Batteries must remain in stock location and be securely fastened.
  16. ALL DOORS must be welded or chained shut. If welded there must be at least three welds 3 inches in length both at the front and rear of the door(s). If doors are chained shut they must be securely fastened in place with either grade 8 bolts or master locks. There cannot be any slack or ability for the chains to come free. BOTH the hood and trunk lid MUST be chained as well.
  17. ALL hood latches and door locks MUST be disabled and/or removed. Holes are permitted in the hood and trunk to run chains through. NO other holes permitted.
  18. MUST cut one 12×12” hole in the center of the hood to allow for extinguishers in the event of a fire.
  19. Stock bumpers for make and model of car ONLY will be permitted. They must be chained in place. IF there is a bumper cover in place, chain it at the corners. NO reinforced bumpers will be permitted.
  20. No transmission, oil, water, or power steering type coolers allowed in the driver’s compartment. If these lines run through driver’s compartment they must have secure secondary containment from the drivers compartment.
  21. NO obscene language or gestures will be permitted on the cars.
  22. NO RACE CARS! ENDURO CARS ONLY please.

DISCRETION OF TRACK OFFICIALS AND THEIR DECISION(S) ARE FINAL!
