Mother Nature Postpones New Era Opener To July 2nd

June 26, 2017 (Fultonville, NY) – Despite best efforts to shake off a pair of thunder showers Sunday afternoon, Glen Ridge Motorsports Park ‘New Era’ Opener checkers fell to mother nature. There was a silver lining to the story, as drivers turned out in support of the fastest ¼ mile on dirt.

Sixteen Crate Modifieds signed in at ‘The Ridge’ Sunday including former track champion Rocky Warner with the Jake Spraker Used Cars 1J. Former track champion JaMike Sowle was on hand with the Sowle Trailer Repair 711, Tim Hartman Jr. had the Parillo Services 22 ready for action, and Chad Edwards had the Spencer Racing 37 in house.

He was set to pilot the Gary Derocher owned Electric City Taxi 10d.

All-time leader in Limited Sportsman wins at ‘The Ridge’ belongs to Mike Jackson, who was ready to roll for the Shaffer Racing Team. Young gun and Lebanon Valley announcer Marty Kelly joined Colin Clow, Bill August, Mike Parodi, John Linblade, and others were ready to ring in the new era.
